This policy explains what information the DISABLETRON website (disabletron.com) and the DISABLETRON iOS app collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. DISABLETRON is the project of an independent music and visual artist. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site, the app, and an opt-in mailing list.

The short version

We do not use analytics SDKs in the app, ad networks, or cross-app/cross-site tracking. We do not collect your location. We do not sell or rent your information. The only personal data we collect is what you choose to give us: an email address if you join the list or create a member account, and the contents of a message if you contact us.

What we collect

• Email address — when you sign up for the newsletter/mailing list (via our subscribe form) so we can send you the updates you opted into.
• Member account — if you choose to create an optional account on the website, we store your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text), plus any order records associated with that account.
• Contact messages — when you send us a message, we receive the name, email address, and message text you provide so we can reply.

That is the full list. The app itself does not require an account to use, and the always-on radio, gallery, visualizer, live, and merch sections work without you giving us any personal data.

How we use it

• To send music, art, and live-set updates that you opted into.
• To operate optional member accounts and keep records of any orders you placed on the website.
• To respond to messages you send us.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or tracking you across other apps or websites.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted services to run the site and fulfill orders. These providers only process the data needed to do their job, and you may be subject to their own privacy policies when you interact with them:

• Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery.
• PayPal — payment processing for art orders placed on the website (PayPal handles your payment details directly; we do not receive or store your card numbers).
• Redbubble — print-on-demand merchandise. Merch links open Redbubble, where checkout and fulfillment happen under Redbubble's own terms and privacy policy.
• Streaming platforms — links to Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Amazon Music, Mixcloud, YouTube and similar are external. When you follow them you leave our site/app and their privacy policies apply.

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe — you can leave the mailing list at any time using the unsubscribe option in our emails, or by contacting us.
• Access or deletion — you can request a copy of, or deletion of, the personal data we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will honor valid requests.

Children

The DISABLETRON site and app are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site or app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
